A 30-year-old lady from Dongguan traveled to HANFEI Plastic Surgery Hospital for thigh liposuction,
specifically to fix the uneven contour left by a previous liposuction procedure elsewhere. She shared that after her first surgery a year ago, her outer thighs still had obvious “lumps” and her inner thighs remained thicker than she wanted—this made her self-conscious even in loose sportswear, which was a big issue since she loved hiking and outdoor activities.

Her main request was to achieve a smooth, symmetrical thigh shape that wouldn’t affect her movement.
During the pre-op check, I found that the previous surgery had left some uneven fat distribution: the upper outer thighs had excess fat (forming small bulges), while the mid-inner thighs still had stubborn fat deposits. We chose a modified minimally invasive liposuction approach—using a smaller cannula to gently extract the uneven fat and smooth out the contour. We also focused on preserving the subcutaneous fat layer to ensure the skin stayed firm and didn’t sag after surgery. The procedure took about 2 hours, and she was able to walk slowly on her own right after.
At her one-week follow-up, the initial swelling had gone down, and she could already see the symmetry improving. By the second month, her thighs were completely smooth—no more lumps, and the inner and outer sides were evenly contoured. She sent me a photo of herself hiking, saying, “I can finally wear my favorite leggings without feeling self-conscious! The shape is so natural, even my hiking friends didn’t notice I had a second surgery.”
