How does hair transplantation work?
Hair transplantation is to use professional hair transplantation equipment to extract healthy hair follicles from the occipital part of the human and implant them into the hair loss area. After the hair follicles survive, hair can grow normally, so as to achieve the purpose of improving hair loss.
The detailed process is as follows:
Donor selection.Most hair transplant client donor area are selected in the dense area of the occipital hair，From the alopecia margin of the head to the hairline margin of the occipital part within 3-4 cm，an elliptical strip from both sides to the temporal region.
Planting area planning. The planting area is delineated according to the specific conditions of hair loss, and the number of hair follicle units to be planted is obtained according to the size of the planting area and the expected density.
Blood test. Hair transplantation is not recommended for patients with infectious diseases or coagulation disorders.
Extraction of hair follicles. Before hair follicle extraction, local anesthetics should be injected, and then hair follicles should be extracted by drilling of the instrument. The extracted hair follicles should be placed in the nutrient solution as soon as possible, and the excess adipose tissue should be separated to prepare for the next planting work.
Hair follicle implantation. Before hair follicle implantation, local anesthetics should be injected, and a perforator should be used to open the incision for hair follicle implantation.
Postoperative nursing. After the follicle implantation is completed, the donor area needs to be slightly bandaged with sterile gauze. No bandaging is needed in the implantation area. Some anti-inflammatory drugs and analgesics are needed to help recover after the operation. Shampoo and scab cleaning are recommended on the fifth day after operation.
